Are you interested in having your name exposed to thousands of area folks and at the same time help many local charities? If so, I would like to invite you to become a part of the 54th Annual League City Lions Club Village Fair and Texas Music Festival, May 9-11, 2008. Each year thousands of area residents turn out not only to enjoy music, food, games, rides, shopping, and a variety of other entertainment, but to see and hear the names of those that make Village Fair possible. The League City Lions Club doesn’t take a cent from the Village Fair - 100% of our profits are distributed to charity and other worthwhile groups, some of which include:
The Village Fair is produced and managed by volunteers. The Lions Club - with our sponsors’ support – opens its doors for a Friday “Kids’ Day” exclusively for special needs children. More than 500 children throughout Galveston County attend this festive annual event. Volunteers are standing by to help them with the rides as well as cook and serve them lunch. Throughout the weekend you will see people helping people at the Run/Walk for Sight, the Kids’ Zone, the BBQ Cook-Off and the Mother of the Year Contest.
On behalf of the League City Lions Club and the many individuals who will benefit from your sponsorship of the 2008 Village Fair and Texas Music Festival, please accept my thank you in advance. Remember... the League City Lions Club has a vision and won’t quit until everyone can see it!
Sincerely,
Steve Nicklow.
